Senior artist Sri Darsi Jwala Chary was bom in 1945 in Talluru Village of Prakasam District in a Swarnakara family. His parents are Sri Darsi Kotaiah and Smt.Subbayamma garu. He studied in C.S.R. Sarma College Ongole and under gone the Lab Technician course. He got employment in the Medical college in Guntur and Warangal. At present he is working as Lab - Technician in the Homeo, R.R. Institute in Gudiwada, Krishna District.
Sri Darsi Jwala Chary had got good interest and showed talents in drawing and painting. At his high school level he did several water colour paintings. He did oil paintings also in his college life as hobby. He learnt the Art from his Art Teacher Sri P. Ratnachary, he learned the Traditional styles in painting and "Nagishi" from Sri Mangaligiri Durga Chary. Then Sri Jwala Chary developed his creative talents and skill in the 'Nagishi* Art, that is embosing on sheet metal work. Because he wanted to bring this type of Art close to the public, he produced all the Hindu Gods figures in the metal sheet embosing work. He got an Award from Silpakala Pradarshanam in Guntur in 1991 by the great poet and saint Darsanikacharya Sri Konduru Veera Raghava Charyulu. He got 'Silpa Chitra Kala Nidhi' title in =the Narasaraopeta Silasilpula Maha Safoha Exhibition by Social reformer Late Sri Chitrawu Nagabhusana Charyulu garu. His Nagishi pictures were Exhibited in Rajahmundry, Machilipatoam, Allagadda and Hyderabad and got Awards also.
